How many pairs should you pack?
Trip length alone is not enough. Count your usual changes, including nighttime if you use a separate pair, and the time until washed pairs will be ready again.
A planning calculation: usual pairs per day × days before clean, dry laundry is available + spare allowance = total pairs to bring, including the pair you wear.
For example, someone who normally uses two pairs a day on a three-day trip without laundry would plan six, then might add two spares: eight total, or seven packed plus one worn. These are example numbers for packing arithmetic, not advice to change only twice a day. Use your own routine and increase supplies if your needs or delays require it.
If you intend to wash on the second evening, do not automatically count those pairs as available the next morning. Drying conditions can change your plan.

Make hotel laundry realistic
